Located just 3km from the centre of Lunenburg we currently have two private rooms to accommodate you. One room with a double bed and another with two twin xl beds in a bunk. Each room comes with use of the kitchen, lounge and shared bathroom.
Rate of $110/night tax inclusive for the double room and $100/night for the bunk room. (That's $95.65 and $86.96 before taxes respectively.)

About us, a message from the proprietor.
I decided to open a hostel here because I wanted to make opportunities for inexpensive travel available to travelers, cyclists and backpackers who find the nightly rates of most hotels and B&Bs prohibitive. I also love traveling by hostel myself and you meet so many interesting people in these places. I think you will find that too.
We are a small hostel, right near the UNESCO World Heritage town of Lunenburg, NS; a place steeped in maritime history and once one of the wealthiest towns in what is now Canada. I encourage you to check out the world class beaches we have here on the South Shore and look at kayaking Stonehurst, surfing Hirtles Beach, biking the Rails to Trails, hiking Gaff Point (one of the best hikes in Nova Scotia and not too hard). Come stay at the Little Red Hostel, save your money for activities and get to experience what Lunenburg and the South Shore have to offer.
While we only have the private rooms currently, in the future we will have a six (6) bed dorm in order to make even lower rates available to budget conscious travelers.
